http://www.sportgrimsby.co.uk/headlines ... ticle.htmlLove his ambition and bravery. Wish he hadn't set the expectations so high but maybe that is the right thing to do... Some interesting quotes from him in the article: "He (Woods) wants us to play football and has made it clear he won't sign players who can't the play the game the way he wants us to. I feel we've got the players to do that, but I also think we've got the characters to dig in and grind out results too – which could be very important this year." " There's still work to do regarding organisational stuff – but that's starting to come together. We're getting there, slowly but surely." UTM

I still can't quite work out why a player of his calibre would come from a lovely place like Bournemouth playing league football to Grimsby. I know Bournemouth are in a financial mess but maybe we shouldn't ask too many questions. Strange !!!!

I thought he said some good stuff, but the topic does remind me a bit of a McFly song, slightly reworded, 'It's all about me.'

Speechwriter I wondered that too but guess he doesn't think the BSP is beneath him otherwise why would he be here ? But yes, if he rates himself higher then why did he come here ? Passing football, chance of promotion, regular first team football, good wage, means of re-establishing his name in the game and scoring more goals - take your pick....
