Massive blow to the start of our campaign! We really need to hit the ground running. I think we've got bodies that can come in and do a job but It would have been nice to have been at full strength for the first game at Crawley. This post isn't a sleight on anyone, I'm just bemoaning our luck!!

just typical for GTFC unfortunately, never have a full strength squad and we don't even have a full first team let alone any back up players. its gonna be a rough season for the youths as they will be playing the first team games and getting our stick when they lose.

How do we know they would get in a full strength team ? Gobern should but Bore looks 1st choice right midfielder right now. Ademeno needs to unseat either Peacock and Connell. Sure it's a blow but not a disaster.

You make a good point 80's, however I do think a fully fit Gobern would start ahead of Bore. That said, Bore can obviously step in and do the business. Ademeno on the other hand is I suppose the unknown entity. I do take your point though and know it's no disaster.

I agree - such was his performance v Gainsboro, we looked to have something exciting on our hands - so was gutted when he limped off. Luckily Bore is not very far off... Imagine if Gobern, Bore and Wood were all fully fit - spoilt for choice on the right hand side...
