Blundell Park 30/07/2010

On a wet but warm night I arrived early and managed to park on Grimsby Road. There is ample on Street parking around the ground. The ground from the outside looks generally ok but the turnstyles were looking a bit tatty and dated.
I was straight to the entrance from Imperial Avenue, there was no queue but had to wait while the female was messing about with something before letting me through. There was no interaction, no smile, just a ticket and I was in.
Now fo a visit to the loo. Basic but clean, I particularly liked the targets to aim at, makes it a bit more interesting.

Now time for some food. I opted for a chicken and mushroom pie. The lady at the kiosk was friendly and efficient there was no queue and I was served quickly. The pie was lovely, nice pieces of chicken in a creamy sauce and very very hot. Slightly on the peppery side but well presented in a foil bag with a fork. Cost £2.00
Coffee was a bit strong but you could add your own milk. Cost £1.30
Stewards were pretty good, no complaints and one actually spoke to me which has upped the marks.
Pitch looked superb.

Ground 8
Turn Style Operative 6
Toilets 8
Pie 9
Coffee 7
Snack Bar Staff 9
Pitch 9
Stewards 9
Overall Experience 8

I would say Fitzy this review was very much spot on to my expectations at BP.
The toilets are not good however when the bladder kicks in they are the only place to be.
