Michael Chapman (appointed 18.11.2002)

A loyal town fan, Michael joined the board in 2002. Michael owns and runs the Woodlands Racing Stables based out of Market Rasen. He professionally trains horses for both flat races and hurdles. He has had winners on nearly every race course in England. He maintains an active interest in the Mariners despite attending race meetings all over the country. His father played for Scunthorpe United during the war whilst he was with the Dam Busters Squadron at Scampton. Michael played for Wolverton Town in the old United Counties League.

Phil Day (appointed 28.11.2013)

Phil joined the board in November 2013. A respected and well-known local solicitor, Phil specialises in commercial and property litigation and his expertise will be invaluable in helping the club to relocate. Phil is a retired partner of the law firm Wilkin Chapman but continues to work for them on a consultancy basis. He has been an avid Town fan all his life.

John Fenty (appointed 06.08.2001)

John is currently the companies’ major shareholder and principle funder. He is lifelong town fan who rarely misses a match either home or away. John is involved in the day to day management of the business and is Project Leader for the new stadium. He is also a ward councillor for Humberston and New Waltham. Having set up Five Star Fish company and built it into world class fish production business employing 300 people he sold his interests in 1994 to the Real Food Group. His other interests include supporting and mentoring local businesses and he holds a number of voluntary posts with North East Council.

Stephen Marley FCCA (appointed 02.02.2015)

Stephen was a senior partner at Weaver Wroot Certified Chartered Accountants who are the company's accountants and auditors and has been involved with the club for the past 35 years. Not only has he been accountant to the club he has also been a trusted advisor to the board over many years providing his expertise on such matters as company law and taxation planning for the proposed new stadium. Stephen's wealth of skills will further benefit the club, in particular with its planned relocation project which he already has been extensively involved in. A stalwart Mariners fan, Stephen rarely misses a game at Blundell Park.

Lee Mullen (appointed 08.06.2015)

Local Euro Lottery winner, turned business man, Lee joined the board in June 2015. Lee a former Royal Navy Serviceman, together with his wife Sue, hit the jackpot in 2011. The pair are committed to supporting the club financially through the purchase of shares. The couple also pay for the use of an Executive Box on an annual basis and actively raise funds for the Club's youth development programme.

Jonathan Wood (appointed 06.08.2013)

Jon was co-opted to the board in August 2013, along with former director Dave Roberts. Jon is currently a senior nurse manager within the NHS and he will be director responsible for Youth Development at Grimsby Town Football Club. Jon and his family are avid Town fans.

Ian Fleming (Chief Executive)

Ian joined the club in 1983 before becoming the youngest club secretary in the Football League in 1986. He was appointed Chief Executive in 1996. He has lived all of his life in Cleethorpes and is an avid Mariners fan, his father, great uncle and great grandfather having played for the ‘Town’. Ian is also the Company Secretary as well as the Chairman of the Grimsby Town Sports & Education Trust.
